Development

Are you a real foodie? Do you have a real passion for food and product creation? Do you love experimenting with recipes, evolving old ideas and developing new ones?

You will have to love everything about food - its versatility, colour and texture, and most of all appreciate its taste. If this sounds like you, then the Product Development scheme is what you are looking for.

In addition to the above, you will need to have a real commercial outlook to understand that the ideas that will excite customers have to be translated into commercially viable products, and that takes time and determination.

In this role you will be encouraged to channel and share your passion for food, ingredients and new ideas. Your innovation and creativity will be challenged and allowed to flourish. You will be working both on your own and in a team to develop new and innovative products, mixing, matching and evolving flavours across new food trends.

You will work alongside experienced and talented chefs, and be given the chance to further develop skills outside a pure product development environment, providing you with an all round education of the complete Manufacturing process. This is your chance to influence what the nation will be eating in the months and years ahead!

This is a fabulous opportunity to get a solid foundation from which a career in New Product Development could be nurtured. Only applicants, who can naturally display a passion for food, have good kitchen skills and a true tenacity and willingness to progress, should apply.

Criteria: Recently completed a food related degree, or have a minimum of one year experience in a concept role within food manufacturing or similar relevant experience. It is vital you have a genuine passion and knowledge of food and trends with a high standard of practical kitchen skills.
